One day at a time.....
Well here I am, back again, taking it slowly, one day at a time, sometimes only an hour at a time, each day I seem to manage something else from 'before', something else that adds to the new normal, the new routine. All the while the physical ache increases and the reality hits hard, this really has happened, I can't pretend it hasn't , I just have to manage and survive. I haven't picked up any stitching or quilting yet, my mind is not quite clear enough yet. The support, love and prayers have given us such comfort and reminded us that we are not alone.

Lovely to hear from you! I have been thinking of you a lot, knowing how hard this is for you now, and will be for a while. And like Chooky, we all wish we lived closer so we could give real hugs....not just cyber hugs!

I am so glad to see you post. I also wish I was closer, it's one day at a time. Slowly it will get better. Won't ever be the same but it will get easier with time. Will continue to keep you in my thoughts.
So glad to see your post, babysteps one day at a time, nothing will ever be the same, but a new "normal" will slowly settle. I have two good friends who have been there, going through loosing a spouse, and it takes time to "find yourself" again. Sending you lots of love and support.
