It's back!

It's official, my quilting mojo has returned!!! I am home from the most wonderful weekend in Port Fairy with my quilting group. We laughed, we ate, we drank, we napped and most importantly we stitched and quilted. It was good for the soul. I completed (in fact all that I had already done was half the cutting) the quilt top for my Sister-in-law to celebrate her 50th Birthday and yes her birthday was in March. Better late than never! It is made from Moda's 'Simple Abundance'. No it's not perfect but I love it and can't wait to get onto the next project now.

"not perfect"...a friend of mine has told me...don't tell people your mistakes...they are just "design elements". I happen to think your quilt looks GREAT!!

Maybe you might want to enter it? There's an FYPChallenge on my blog...Finish Your Projects...each finished project is another ticket to win $30 Gift certificate...

It looks even better in "person!" Hope your hubby found the rest of the binding at the quilt shop! He's a keeper. It was really great fun..wish it were once a month, I'd get some thing done!

Your quilt is fantastic. You must be very proud! When i finished my ifrst quilt I had a mixture of excitment and relief as half way thorugh I thought that I had bitten off more that I could chew.
