Bake me happy!

I ran into a friend in the supermarket this morning and she suggested I go home and bake myself happy! I decided I had nothing to lose! Worst case scenario I would be organised for the week ahead. A batch of Cornie biscuits with cranberries and dark choc chips instead of sultanas, a sultana cake and a chocolate brownie later I was feeling good, not quite happy but organised!

Looks delicious. The baker in our house does a lovely anzac bikkie with cranberries.

I often try that strategy for "happy" - hence the weight problem! bugger!!

I am with Annie - I love to bake but then I eat it....perhaps I should just bake and bring it all in to work to share around! Love Cornflake cookies.....you have my address don't you? :)

I find that sewing helps to distract me and two years ago I found myself doing rather a lot and to deadlines too. It did help but baking smells better and is fun to do.
I like making cupcakes and thinking of ways to decorate them.
What do you like baking the most?

Hope you are well and baking up a storm. Fall is here in Idaho and I'm not looking forward to snow this winter. I've been quilting and knitting so if I work at it I should be able to finish up several projects in the coming year. That's my goal anyway. Take care I'm thinking of you.
