Oh Jimmy!!!

Not a very happy house this morning. My poor SH found Jimmy 'playing'?? with some of his beloved girls - the chooks - in the backyard. He had dug under the fence. They are still alive, just, but one is missing and SH is devastated. He loves his girls and Jimmy and isn't sure what to do now. Of course at this stage he is entertaining worse case scenarios but hopefully things will look better by the end of the day. It may be as simple as reinforcing the fence???

Opps. No doubt the girls will recover but reinforcing sounds like a magnificant idea.

oh dear!
Hopefully the missing chook has simply run off scared and will come back when hungery.

Oh no!!! I think the reinforcing of the fence sounds like a good idea too.
Crossing fingers the missing chook finds her way home!!! and is not in Jimmy's tummy.
hugs!

Oh my gosh, I hope that the chook has run off through the hole in the fence. Otherwise you would have found some evidence of it right? Are we thinking Jimmy ate it? Surely not. Not lock stock and barrel?

I guess chooks aren't like goldfish huh? You can't just replace it and hope SH doesn't realise it's a different one?????

Oh dear. I hope you found the chook. And as for Jimmy. I wonder if scolding does any good. We once had a dog (in America) that got into the neighbor's hen house. No matter how we scolded and trained he would go straight to the henhouse if he escaped from the yard. I think the neighbors reinforced too.
