'Pick me up' parcels!

Sometimes things happen at just the right moment and over the last month I've received 3 parcels at just the right times when I've needed a 'pick me up'!! They are all so very very special and I feel blessed with the friends I have made in 'blogland'!

I won a giveaway from Joyce at J's Quilting Blog (oops the links aren't working tonight or maybe its my brain!!!). She sent me this beautiful table runner and hoped it would arrive before Valentines Day which it did and graced my table beautifully. I just love it and can guarantee it will get a lot of use. Thank you so much Joyce. If you haven't visited Joyce you really should, she does the most amazing artistic quilting and is also an amazing cook and baker, her bread always looks so good!

I also won a giveaway from Margaret at Cosmos and Chrysanthemums. She sent me a lovely basket bag she made herself, I have so many uses for it I will need to choose!! She also sent some vintage sewing patterns which brought back many memories. I had to laugh that one of the patterns is the exact one my Mum made my first tennis skirt from - a terrible white fabric with a red biased binding trim!!! Margaret always has interesting snippets to show and tell about trips she takes and she does an amazing job sewing to raise money for charity. Thank you Margaret - I love my parcel.

I was also lucky enough to win a giveaway from Joy at Joypatch. Her parcel blew me away! I was expecting her new pattern for a pleated bag (thought if I showed Mum and hinted enough she may test the pattern for me first!!!) but the parcel held so much more. I had to take a photo of it still wrapped, a bit hard to tell but the pink ribbon had Joy's website printed on it! Inside I found the pattern, chocolate - VIP!, a baby cutting board, some sticky notes and a multicolor pen, some fabric labels and the cutest cupcake card. Thank you so much for making me smile Joy!
