My name....

There has been some talk in blogland about how blogs are named and I am a little bit late jumping on the wagon but thought I'd share anyway.
It is pretty simple - I love cats and chocolate so simply combined 2 of my favorite things! A home is not a home without a cat and there is the worry that in my latter years I may end up as a 'crazy cat lady'!!! and my day is not complete without chocolate. I have a taste most days and ALWAYS have some in my secret stash - just in case!!!
Anyone else that hasn't told care to let us know how you named your blog??

My blog is named the same as my machine quilting business. The business got the name Bed of Roses because the DH and I were in the car headed home after looking at a quilting machine I wanted to buy. I had pretty much decide I wanted the machine and DH says that it's to much money to have for a hobby so I would have to go into business. So we were discussing business names and on the radio the Statler Brothers were singing This Bed of Roses. My middle name is rose, my daughter's middle name is rose and my oldest granddaughter's middle name is rose so I decided that was the perfect name for my new business. Probably more than you wanted to know but there it is.

I dont have a blog, but that is how I picked my email name. I had a huge (110 lbs) German shorthair dog, (met him when he was 1 day old),we named him Dakotah. When he ran and played hard,(this next part is gross) he would get all slobbery and snaughty, Instead of calling it what it was, boogers, I called it goobers. And my email name is Dakotahgoober!

See I knew I liked you, two of my favorite things too!

My blog would have been Pins and Needles in the address, but that was taken. One hyphen was also taken. Hence the two hyphens!
