Mmmm not sure that I should share but SH went to fill up his 3 week old vehicle with fuel this morning and filled it with petrol instead of diesel.....fairly sure he will never do that again! Luckily he realised before he turned it over and pushed it out of the way of the bowser for the dealership to collect, drain and return. He felt a little better when the lunchtime conversation at my work revealed he was in quite good company with more than one other husband doing the same thing!
Hope the kids don't read this post or he may never hear the end of it!

Yep, my husband and his friend went on a fishing trip and the same happened to him. He is not alone!
I'm sure he'll only do that once! This isn't the first time I've heard of this, he's not alone.
Oops! I'm sure he's in good company! Poor SH! It takes a bit of getting used to having to fill up a car with different fuel!!
I thought this was hilarious especially as my hubby always tells me to make sure I go the the right bowser then one day pulled up at the wrong one himself,although he did not get as far as your hubby did.One cross up for the chalkboard to you lol.
Gee, he was lucky (and smart) not to start the vehicle. We have seen lots of clients put the wrong fuel in and it can be very costly ($000,'s).
I have done it myself in a brand new diesel Ford Focus!
